Friday night: Club night

Time: 6.30pm - 8.30pm

The junior club night has gone from strength to strength. Last Friday we had over 36 kids attend. The goal of Friday nights is competition. Every week kids play timed tennis and are awarded points for success.

At the end of the month points are added up and prizes are up for grabs. In order for this to be a success we will need a charge of 3 Euro per child or 5 Euro per family. This money will then be put towards prizes. This gives the kids a great incentive to compete and encourages interaction through doubles.

Junior coaching

Day: Thursday, 3.00pm - 6.00pm

Christine Mahoney has been working very hard over the last couple of months and she has decided she needs a holiday! She will be missed but the junior coaching will continue for another 4 weeks. Cost: 35 Euro.

Junior championships

The junior championships will take place for a week form 23 June 2007. Please ensure that if you enter you are available to play during that week. All juniors should wear appropriate tennis shoes. Cost of entry: 5 Euro.

Junior league teams

There are many promising junior players coming up through the ranks and we would like to enter one junior team this year. In order to this and all of the above, we need the support of the parents.

If your child can rally full court and is interested, please contact Garreth and Christine. If we get the numbers we would like to continue wiht junior coaching throughout the summer and train players for junior league.

Junior summer camp

Summer camp begins 2 July for 5 days from 10.00am to 1.00pm. Cost 65 Euro per person. The course is open to girls and boys aged 4 - 17 years.
